5. Install your down lead coax cable (not supplied) to the

“Antenna” input on the back of your digital TV,TV/digital receiver

or set-top box as shown in Fig. 3

6. Using the second supplied 3’ coax cable the left port labeled

“To Receiver” on the power inserter (2) to your digitalTV,

TV/digital receiver or set-top box. Do Not reverse the conection.

7. Connect the 12v DC power supply (4) screw on f-connector

to the bottom connection of the power inserter (2).

8. Insert the wall plug into any 110 volt AC power sourse, wall

outlet or power strip, close to the TV and ensure that the 110v

wall outlet is live - not switched off.

Power Inserter

Finished Installation:

Your completed installation and assembly of your PA18 Pre-Amplifier should resemble the full installation diagram of Fig.3

Important: The power inserter sends power Up your down lead to drive the amplifier mounted on or near your antenna.

The power inserter can be located anywhere in your house but, is usually near your TV. The down lead coax cable

also brings the digital antenna into your house and the signal passes though the power inserter to your Digital TV/Receiver.

This eliminates any need for a 110VAC wall power source close to your antenna.
