You may wish to carry a spare headset and
transmitting cable with you.
A small ear hook and a large ear hook are supplied
with the headset.
Adjusting the Shape of the Ear Hook
The shape of the ear hook can be adjusted to
obtain a more comfortable fit.
To adjust the shape of the ear hook, unscrew it
from the microphone case and place it in hot water
(at least 140°F/60°C) for 5 minutes. Remove the
ear hook from the water and bend or straighten it
to obtain the desired shape. Hold the ear hook in
position under cold running water for 30 seconds
or until it has hardened.
The process can be repeated as often as required.
Note:
Do not use a hair dryer or other source
of direct heat to soften the ear hook.
