3. Measure the length of tubing required to fit
under the ear lobe allowing for approximately
4 in (5 mm) of tubing to be fitted over the ear
hook itself.
4. Remove the microphone and mic lock from the
ear and cut the tubing at the measured point.
5. Slide the cut end of the tubing about 4 in
(5 mm) over the ear hook.
6. Hook the microphone case complete with mic
lock over the ear and secure the tubing under
the ear lobe. Place the transmitting coil in
position over the implant.
