Slot Configuration for the Compaq Professional Workstation AP500
NewsCutter releases on the Compaq Professional Workstation AP500
can be upgraded to NewsCutter Release 2.x, although, not all options
in NewsCutter Release 2.x are available when using the Compaq
Professional Workstation AP500. The Compaq Professional
Workstation AP500 provides five expansion slots (including the AGP
slot). The installed AGP and TARGA 2000 video board are standard
boards used in NewsCutter Release 1.x.

If you reconfigure the system to its original configuration, you can use the
AGP board for troubleshooting purposes.
Tab le 3 lists the supported slot configurations for NewsCutter
Release 1.x and Release 2.x on the Compaq Professional Workstation
AP500. Use this information for removing and installing the new
boards.
