3. Choose About Windows NT from the Help menu.
The About Windows NT dialog box appears and displays the
version of Windows NT, the service pack number, and the
available memory.
4. Click OK to close the dialog box.
5. Close the My Computer window by clicking the Close button.
6. Click the Start button and select Shut Down.
The Shut Down Windows dialog box appears.
7. Select the “Shut down the computer?” option.
8. Click Yes.
9. Turn off the system when it is safe to do so.
You now know that your system works before you start to add boards
and make system changes.
IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866 Specific Information
NewsCutter Release 2.x ships on the IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866-40U
(USA) and the Z Pro 6866-40G (Europe) professional workstation. The
IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866 system has seven expansion slots
consisting of one dedicated accelerated graphics port (AGP) slot and
six PCI slots. The slots on the system board are configured as follows:
AGP slot (only used by NewsCutter XP Release 1.5).
Slots 2 to 5 are 32-bit PCI slots.
Slots 6 and 7 are 64-bit PCI slots.
The following are the minimum driver versions qualified for
NewsCutter Release 2.x on the IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866 system:
