Upgrade Procedure
Assembly Procedures
Assembly of the Pass-Through mechanism (“the mechanism”) requires
experience working with moderately complex mechanisms, and the ability to
follow directions carefully. The following sections first provide an overview
of the parts and procedures required to assemble and install the mechanism. It
will be useful to read these sections through before beginning work. The most
common procedure required in the field, adding a section or sections to an
existing mechanism, is described in a separate section following the overview.
It refers to some of the procedures described in the overview.
Identifying the Parts of the Mechanism
Locate and identify the mechanism internal and external parts. The mechanism
includes the following external parts (Figure 2-1).
