Thank you for purchasing our smoke alarm device. Please
take a few minutes to read the user’s manual thoroughly
and familiarise yourself and your family with its operation.

Description:
The unit is a photoelectric smoke alarm device. With the
photoelectric technology, it is more sensitive to detecting
slow smolder fires
Installation:
Activation
The detector is built with an activation press button on its
back. As soon as the bracket is fixed on the body it is
activated.
NOTE If you remove the bracket, the detector is
deactivated again.
Installation
Install the bracket on the ceiling (Diagram 2).
Fit the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body
clockwise, until it matches with the bracket.
Press the test button to test the unit
Do not install smoke alarm devices in
the following locations:
Near appliances or areas where normal combustion
regularly occurs (kitchens, near furnaces, hot water
heaters).
In areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms.
Near air returns or heating and cooling supply vents.
Install at least 3 feet away from these areas. The air
could blow smoke away from the detector, which may
cause failure to alarm.
In rooms where temperatures may fall below 0 or rise
above 40, or where air humidity is higher than 93%.
In extremely dusty, dirty, or insect infested areas
Operation:
Testing
The entire bottom serves as the test button. You can test the
detector by pressing it. Test the unit to ensure the proper
operation, this will sound the alarm if the electronic circuitry,
horn, and battery are working.
DO NOT use an open flame to test your alarm, you could
damage the alarm or ignite combustible materials and start
a fire.
CAUTION: Due to the loudness (85 decibels) of the alarm,
always stand an arms-length away from the unit when
testing.
Test the alarm weekly to ensure proper operation.
LED indicators
Working mode: the red LED flashes once every 40
seconds. This indicates that the smoke alarm device is
operating properly.
Alarm mode: the red LED flashes every second. This
indicates that you are either pressing the test button or
that the detector is going into alarm.
Silence (Hush) mode: the red LED flashes once every 8
seconds, indicating the smoke alarm device is in the
alarm silence (Hush) mode.
Alarm silence (silence mode)
While the unit is alarming, you can push the test button
and pause the alarm for approximately 10 minutes.
The red LED will flash once every 8 seconds. This
indicates that the smoke alarm device is running in the
silence mode.
The silence feature is to be used only when a known
