Please read carefully and save these instructions, as you may need them at a later
date.
Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture in order to
prevent possible shock.
All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code
(N.E.C.) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the
services of a qualified electrician.
Remove all parts and hardware from the box and make sure that none are missing by
referencing the illustrations provided.
1. Pull the SUPPLY WIRES (4 & 6) and the SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (9) out from the OUTLET BOX (1)
and attach th e MOUNTING STRAP (2) to the OUTLET BOX (1) (not included) with the OUTLET BOX
SCREWS and WASHERS (3).
2. Temporarily place FIXTURE (14) over MOUNTING STRAP (2) to determine the amount of
adjustment necessary. Adjust FIXTURE SCREWS (15) to the proper height and then secure by
tightening the HEX NUTS (15) against the MOUNTING STRAP (2).
3. Unravel the FIXTURE LEAD WIRES (5 & 7) and FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (8). Attach the power
supply wires to the fixture lead wires by connecting the BLACK SUPPLY WIRE (4) to the SMOOTH
(or BLACK) FIXTURE LEAD WIRE (5) and the WHITE SUPPLY WIRE (6) to the RIBBED
(or WHITE) FIXTURE LEAD WIRE (7). Loop the SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (9) around the
GROUND SCREW (13) on the MOUNTING STRAP (2). [Note: Be sure to provide an extra 3in. length
of the SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (9) for connection to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (8).] Connect
the remaining SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (9) to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (8). Use a WIRE
CONNECTOR (10) for all wire connections. Push wiring and connections inside the OUTLET BOX (1).

Place the FIXTURE (14) over the OUTLET BOX (1), positioning the FIXTURE SCREW
(15) heads through the large openings of the key hole slots. Rotate the FIXTURE (14) to seat
the screws and then tighten FIXTURE SCREWS (15) securely.
5. Install bulb (not included), MAXIMUM 60W.
6. Partially loosen DECORATIVE SCREWS (12) on FIXTURE (14). Attach GLASS SHADE (11) to
FIXTURE (14) with DECORATIVE SCREWS (12). Do NOT overtighten DECORATIVE SCREWS (12).
Pull down very gently on GLASS SHADE (11) to ensure GLASS SHADE (11) is secure.
INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETE.
