ADVERTENCIA: No permita que los dedos toquen los terminales de un
enchufe al instalar o retirar el enchufe de la toma.

SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
1. Las herramientas con doble aislamiento están
equipadas con un enchufe polarizado (una hoja
más ancha que la otra). Este enchufe se ajustará
a una toma polarizada en un solo sentido. Si el
enchufe no entra por completo en la toma, revierta
el enchufe. Si aún no entra, contacte a un electricista
calificado para que instale una toma polarizada.
No cambie el enchufe en ningún modo.
2. El doble aislamiento elimina la necesidad de
cordones de alimentación de tres alambres para
conexión a tierra y sistemas de alimentación con
conexión a tierra. Aplica sólo para herramientas
Clase II (con doble aislamiento). Esta sierra circular
es una herramienta con doble aislamiento.

3. ANTES de enchufar la herramienta, ASEGÚRESE que el voltaje de la toma provisto se
encuentra dentro del rango de voltaje marcado en la placa de datos de la herramienta.
NO use herramientas con clasificación “AC solamente” con fuentes de alimentación DC.
4. EVITE el contacto corporal con superficies con conexión a tierra, tales como tuberías,
radiadores, estufas y refrigeradores. Existe un mayor riesgo de descargas eléctricas si
su cuerpo hace contacto a tierra.
5. NO exponga las herramientas eléctricas a la lluvia ni a condiciones de humedad
ni use herramientas eléctricas en lugares mojados o húmedos. El agua que penetra
en la herramienta eléctrica incrementará el riesgo de descargas eléctricas.
6. INSPECCIONE el cordón de la herramienta para verificar la presencia de daños.
Entregue cordones de herramientas dañados al Centro de Servicio Sears.
ASEGÚRESE de estar constantemente conciente de la ubicación del cordón y manténgalo
lejos de la hoja en movimiento.
7. NO abuse el cordón. NUNCA use el cordón para transportar la herramienta ni para
halar el enchufe de la toma. Mantenga el cordón lejos del calor, aceite, bordes filosos
o piezas móviles. Remplace todo cordón dañado de inmediato. Los cordones dañados
incrementan el riesgo de descargas eléctricas.

9. USE SÓLO accesorios recomendados para esta herramienta. Los accesorios que
podrían ser aptos para una herramienta podrían tornarse peligrosos cuando se usan
con otra herramienta.

WARNING: ALWAYS clamp and support workpiece securely. ALWAYS
maintain proper control of saw. Failure to clamp and support workpiece and
loss of control of saw could result in serious injury.

MAKING BEVEL CUTS (Figs. 16 and 16a)
1. Your saw 10865 can be adjusted to cut at any angle between 0° and 48°.
2. When making 45° bevel cuts, line the left side of the notch in the saw's base with the
penciled line of cut on your workpiece (see Fig. 13).
3. When making a bevel cut HOLD the saw FIRMLY with both hands (see Fig. 16).
4. Rest the front edge of the base on the workpiece, then squeeze the trigger switch to start
the saw. ALWAYS let the blade reach full speed, then guide the saw into the workpiece.
5. After completing your cut, release the trigger switch and allow the blade to come to a
complete stop in the cut. DO NOT remove the saw from the workpiece while the blade
is moving. It will damage your bevel cut and cause Kickback.
WARNING: If the blade comes in contact with the workpiece before it
reaches full speed, it could cause the saw to kickback towards you, possibly
resulting in serious injury.

cutting!
Here's how it works:
1. Mark your workpiece with a pencil line at the point to be cut.
2. Adjust your saw for bevel, 0° to 55° cutting.
3. As you adjust blade, the red Bevel Trac™ “Line-of-Cut Indicator” will automatically
move and point to the blade's cutting line.
4. After adjusting your saw to the angle you want, tighten bevel adjustment lever.
5. Place the saw up to workpiece, align the red pointer to pencil line and proceed to make
make your cut!
