SÍMBOLOS DE SEGURIDAD
DEFINICIÓN DE LOS SÍMBOLOS
SÍMBOLO DE ALERTA DE SEGURIDAD: Indica PELIGRO,
ADVERTENCIA o PRECAUCIÓN. Puede ser utilizado en conjunto con otros
símbolos o pictograma.

PREVENCIÓN DE DAÑOS Y MENSAJES INFORMATIVOS
Estos informan al usuario sobre información y/o instrucciones importantes que podrían conllevar
a daños al equipo u otra propiedad si no se siguen. Cada mensaje es precedido por la palabra
“NOTA:” como se muestra en el ejemplo a continuación:
El propósito de los símbolos de seguridad es llamar su atención a posibles peligros.
Los símbolos de seguridad y las explicaciones que los acompañan, merecen su
cuidadosa atención y entendimiento. Las advertencias mediante símbolo por sí
solas NO eliminan el peligro. Las instrucciones y advertencias que ofrecen no
sustituyen las medidas de prevención de accidentes apropiadas.

ADVERTENCIA: El funcionamiento de cualquier
herramienta con una hoja circular podrían resultar en objetos
foráneos arrojados en sus ojos, lo cual podrían resultar en
daños graves a los ojos. Antes de comenzar a usar herramientas
eléctricas, SIEMPRE use gafas de seguridad con protectores
laterales y protectores de cara completa cuando sea necesario.
Nosotros recomendamos una Máscara de Seguridad de Visión
Amplia para usar sobre gafas de seguridad estándar con
protectores laterales, la cual está disponible en las Tiendas
Sears u otros Puntos de Venta Craftsman.

If the blade does not follow a straight line:
• Teeth are dull. This is caused by hitting a hard object such as a nail, dulling
teeth on one side. The blade tends to cut to the side with the sharpest teeth.
• Base is out of line or bent.
• Blade is bent.
• Edge guide or straight edge is not being used.
If the blade binds or smokes from friction:
• Blade is dull.
• Blade is on backwards.
• Blade is bent.
• Workpiece is not properly supported.
• Incorrect blade is being used.

Sears and other Craftsman outlets also offer sawhorses, combination and
framing squares, straight edges, edge guides, and a large assortment of
clamps to help you with all your sawing needs.

MAINTENANCE cont.
LUBRICATION
All of the bearings in this tool are lubricated with a sufficient amount of high-grade
lubricant for the life of the tool under normal operating conditions. Therefore,
no further lubrication is required.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE cont.:
3. Check the state of all electrical cables.
4. Keep the motor air openings free from oil, grease and sawdust or woodchips,
and store tool in a dry place.
5. Be certain that all moving parts that are exposed are well lubricated, particularly after
lengthy exposure to damp and/or dirty conditions.
