HOW TO SET UP YOUR TRACTOR INSTALL PREPARE Adjust seat before tightening adjustment bolt, BATTERY CAUTION: (See Fig. 2) Wear eye and face shield. Wash hands or clothing immediately if accidentally in contactwith batteryacid, Do not smoke. Fumes from charged battery acid are explosive. Read the instructions included with the battery vent caps. Always wear gloves, clothing and goggles to protect your hands, skin and eyes.
BLY INSTALL BATTERY (See Figs. 4 & 5) CAUTION: Do not short battery terminals. OPERATUO TO START ENGINE (See Fig. 7) When starting engine for the first time or if engine has run out of fue!, it will take extra cranking time to move fuel from the tank to the engine° o Depress the clutch/brake brake° pedal and set the parking • Place gearshift lever in "NEUTRAL" o Move attachment clutch to "DISENGAGED" o Move throttle control lever to "CHOKE" position for cold engine start. For warm engine start, move throttle control to "FAST" position.
