SWITCH
See Figure 3.
To turn your drill ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it
OFF, release the switch trigger.
VARIABLE SPEED
This tool has a variable speed switch that delivers higher
speed and torque with increased trigger pressure. Speed
is controlled by the amourr_of switch trigger depression.
Note: You might hear a whistlir_j or ringing noise from
the switch during use. Do not b_c0ncerned, this is a
normal part of the switch function.

• Lock switch trigger on your drill-driver by placing the
direction of rotation selector in center position,

The drilling or driving mode selector is located on the
switch trigger. Decide the type of operation then place
selector in proper mode.

• Make sure the latches on each side of your battery
pack snap in place and battery pack is secured in drill-
driver before beginning operation.

CAUTION: When placing battery pack in your drill-
driver, be sure raised rib inside drill-driver aligns with
groove on battery pack and latches snap in place
properly. Improper assembly of battery t_ack can
cause damage to internal components.
TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK
• Lock switch trigger on your drill-driver by placing the
direction of rotation selector in center position.
See Figure 3.
• Locate latches on end of battery pack and depress to
release battery pack from your drill-driver. See Figure ,I.
• Remove battery pack from your drill-driver.
