14. Disclaimer and warranty
14.1. DISCLAIMER
The SmartWasher
®
is designed exclusively for removing
oil and grease from automotive and industrial parts, and
then remediating the residue. Any other use of this
system, such as dumping waste oil, is not recommended
and will cause damage to the system.
CRC Industries Europe cannot be responsible for any
damages resulting from improper, inappropriate or un-
authorized use
In addition, while CRC Industries Europe has performed
multiple analyses of used OzzyMats
®
and fluid and found
them to be non-hazardous, we strongly recommend that
local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and
handling be consulted before disposing or handling used
CRC Industries Europe products.
CRC Industries Europe accepts no responsibility or
liability for users’ failure to comply with local regulations.
14.2. WARRANTY
The SmartWasher is intended for professional use only.
All parts on the SmartWasher are guaranteed for 1 year,
with the exception of normal wear parts (brush, filters,
hoses, etc.) and any parts that may have been damaged
by incorrect use, negligence, accident, or failure to adhere
to the written maintenance instructions contained in this
Manual. CRC Industries will replace, at no charge to the
distributor (original purchaser), any parts found to be
defective in material, when these parts are returned to our
European Distribution Centre, located in Zele, Belgium.
Transportation charges to be paid by original purchaser.
The guarantee is eective from the date of distributors
invoice for the SmartWasher. In the event of any claim
under warranty, the original invoice, or copy will be re-
quired as proof of purchase. The SmartWasher has been
designed for use as described in the operating instructions.
Any modification made to the SmartWasher or use of
any non-CRC-approved replacement parts will lead to the
guarantee being declared null and void. In addition, the
use of any consumables other than those indicated in the
instruction manual, OzzyJuice SW-1, SW-3, SW-6 and
SW-X1 and any subsequent additional SW series fluids
and the Filters, OzzyMat FL-4, will lead to the guarantee
being declared null and void.
The manufacturer cannot be held in any way liable for
any damage caused by using the parts washer in any
way other than the way recommended in the operating
instructions, in technical datasheets and in the safety data
sheet concerning associated products.
All other warranties (whether expressed or implied)
as to quality, condition, description, compliance with
sample or fitness for purposes (whether statutory or
otherwise) other than those expressly set out in this
[Manual] are excluded to the fullest extent permitted
by law. The manufacturer shall in any event not be liable
for consequential damages. The manufacturer reserves
the right to make changes in design or improvements to
its product without imposing any obligation on itself to
install the same on its product previously sold.
