ALWAYS CHECK THAT HANDLE AND SIDE HANDLES ARE SECURELY ATTACHED:
WHEN ATTACHING HANDLE AND SIDE HANDLES, MAKE SURE THAT IT CLICKS IN
PLACE.
DO NOT TOUCH HANDLE AND SIDE HANDLES BUTTON WHILE MOVING PAN.
ALWAYS USE DETACHABLE LONG OR SIDE HANDLES WHEN REMOVING A HOT
PAN FROM THE OVEN OR STOVETOP.
NEVER TOUCH THE STAINLESS STEEL GRIPS DIRECTLY, IT CAN BURN
ONLY REMOVE HANDLE WHEN PAN IS IN A STABLE POSITION
NOTE THAT THE LONG OR SIDE HANDLES (IF NOT DETACHED) CAN BECOME HOT
WHEN COOKING WITH GAS ON HIGH OR USING AN ELECTRIC ELEMENT LARGER
THAN THE SIZE OF THE DIAMETER OF VESSEL. ALWAYS USE AN OVEN MIT OR
POT HOLDER TO REMOVE THE VESSEL FROM THE STOVETOP IN THIS SITUATION.
NEVER USE LONG HANDLE FOR POTS BIGGER THAN 4 QUARTS AND FOR FRYING
PANS LARGER THAN 11 INCHES OVER THOSES DIMENSIONS. ONLY USE SIDE
HANDLES.
DO NOT SHAKE YOUR CRISTEL COOKWARE (SUCH AS A FRYING PAN, STOCK

Stainless steel
WHY STAINLESS STEEL: The quality of the 18/10 stainless steel (18% Chromium
and 10% Nickel) that we have chosen for this product gives a lifetime guarantee
of food safety and the preservation of the digestive and nutritional qualities of
the food. These qualities, combined with those of aluminum thermal diffusion
(the food can’t be on contact with the aluminum), are recommended and used by
all professional chefs for cooking meats, vegetables and fruits, with or without
fat.
NEVER USE CHLORINE PRODUCT (FOR INSTANCE BLEACH), WHICH
COULD MAKE HOLES ON YOUR PRODUCT AND MAKE IT UNUSABLE.
Exceliss® non-stick coating
WHY EXCELISS® NON-STICK: Cooking some foods such as fish and eggs requires
more fat. In order to reduce fat consumption, we suggest using pans or fryers
coated with EXCELISS®, high quality non-stick reinforced stainless steel, for a
very long product life.
Cristel Exceliss® non-stick products: Clean your non-stick cookware carefully after
each use, preferably using hot water. This can be done in the dishwasher or by
hand using chlorine free dishwashing soap (rubbing gently with a non-abrasive
sponge if necessary).
Products with EXCELISS® NON-STICK COATING together with the GLASS LIDS must
not be placed under the broiler.
DO NOT OVERHEAT. CRISTEL THERMODIFFUSER BASES DISTRIBUTE
THE HEAT PERFECTLY, SO VERY LITTLE ENERGY IS REQUIRED.
