INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Location of washer Check location where washer will be installed. Make sure you have everything necessary for correct installation. Proper installation is your responsibility. • Do not place or store your washer below 0°C (32°F) to avoid any damage from freezing. • Install the washer on a horizontal solid floor. • To reduce the risk of fire, this appliance must be fastened or otherwise secured to an uncovered concrete floor.

INLET HOSE CONNECTION • Water supply pressure must be between 4.5 and 145 PSI (30~1000 kPa). • Do not crossthread when connecting inlet hose to the valve. If the water supply pressure is more than 145 PSI, a pressure reducing device should be installed. • Two Sealing washers are supplied with the water inlet hoses to prevent water leaks. • Check for leakage of washing machine connections by turning the tap completely on. • Periodically check the condition of the hose and replace the hose if necessary.

OPERATING YOUR WASHER To obtain the best washing results, you must operate your washer properly. This section gives you this important information. Preparing clothes for washing • Turn down cuffs and turn synthetic knits out to avoid piling. • Tie strings and sashes so they will not tangle. • Treat spots and stains. (see “Removing stains” on page15) • Close zippers, snaps, and hooks to avoid snagging other items. Remove pins, buckles, and other hard objects to avoid scratching the washer interior.

WASHING PROCEDURE AND COURSE SELECTION FULL AUTOMATIC COURSE 1. SMART WASH COURSE(SENSOR) : • This selection is for general washing except those with delicate material. • Artificial brain sensor selects the proper washing condition for any size load, such as washing time, rinse time, spin time and water level. • You may choose the desired water temperature and water level here. 2. ECO WASH COURSE ; • This selection is used to reduce water consumption and washing time for less dirty clothes.

GENERAL PROCEDURE FOR OPERATION 1. Add measured detergent to the washer. (Follow manufacturer's directions for safe use) 2. OPTIONAL STEP If desired, add measured liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach inlet. Use only liquid chlorine in the bleach inlet. * Follow manufacturer's directions for safe use. NOTE • Do not let bleach splash, drip, or run down into washer basket. Undiluted bleach will damage any fabric it touches.

CARING FOR YOUR WASHER Proper care of your washer can extend its life. This section explains how to care for your washer properly and safely. Cleaning your washer Exterior Interior Wipe up detergent, bleach, and other spills with a soft, damp cloth or sponge as they occur. Occasionally wipe the outside of the washer to clean its surface. Clean interior with 250ml of chlorine bleach mixed with 500ml of detergent. Run washer through a complete cycle. Repeat this process if necessary.

HOW TO CLEAN THE FILTER Cleaning the Lint Filter • This washer has two types of lint filters in order to increase lint filtering performance. It is assembled in the middle area of Tub.(Option) 1 Pull upward to remove filter. 2 Open the cover and remove lint. Close the cover. 3 Replace filter by placing against tub wall and pushing downward into slot. Cleaning the from the water inlet. • Clean the filter when water leaks from the water inlet. 1 Pull the power plug out before cleaning it.

Cleaning the drain filter • In the pump model drain hose, the filter is located in the back of the washer. • This drain filter is to screen foreign items such as threads, coins, pins, buttons, etc. • If the drain filter is not cleaned periodically (once every 10 uses), drain problems may occur. 1 Empty out remaining water from the hose, and place a container under the filter to collect water. 2 Turn the cap counter clockwise. 3 Pull out filter from main body case.

Removing stains Stained, heavily-soiled, or greasy items may need to be prewashed or soaked for best results. Soaking helps remove protein-type stains like blood, milk, or grass. Prewashing helps loosen soil before washing. Stain removal rules • Use warm water for soaking or prewashing stained laundry. Hot water can set stains. • Most stains are easier to remove when they are fresh.
