Unless otherwise noted, each procedure assumes that the following conditions exist: l You have performed the steps in Turning Off Your Computer and Before Working Inside Your Computer. l You have read the safety information that shipped with your computer.
CAUTION: To disconnect a network cable, first unplug the cable from your computer and then unplug the cable from the network device. 3. Disconnect all telephone or network cables from the computer. 4. Press and eject any installed cards from the Media Card Reader. 5. Disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets. 6. Disconnect all attached devices from your computer.

CAUTION: Be extremely careful when opening the display to prevent damaging the display assembly. 9. Open the display as far as possible. 10. Disconnect the Mini-Card antenna cables from the Mini-Card. 11. Note the routing of the Mini-Card antenna cables and remove them from the routing guides on the computer. 12. Place the display grounding cable over the screw hole and replace the display cable grounding screw. 4. Connect the display cable to the connector on the system board. 5. Route the Mini-Card antenna cables through the routing guides on the computer base. 6.

Replace the two screws that secure the display bezel to the display back cover. 4. Replace the two rubber pads that cover the display bezel screws. 5.

Replacing the Memory Module 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Align the notch in the memory module with the tab in the memory- module connector. 3. Slide the memory module firmly into the slot at a 45-degree angle, and press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
