296 Understanding the Printer Menus
Reset Wireless
NOTE: Reset Wireless feature is available only when the printer is connected
using the wireless network.
Purpose:
To initialize wireless network settings. After executing this function and
rebooting the printer, all wireless network settings are reset to their default
values.
Values:
Ad-hoc Select to configure the wireless setting without the access point
such as a wireless router.
No Security Select to configure the wireless setting without
specifying the security method from WEP.
WEP(64Bit) Specifies the WEP 64 bit key to use through the
wireless network. Up to 10 hexadecimal
characters can be entered.
Transmit
Key
Specifies the transmit key from
WEP Key 1, WEP Key 2, WEP
Key 3, and WEP Key 4.
WEP(128Bit) Specifies the WEP 128 bit key to use through
the wireless network. Up to 26 hexadecimal
characters can be entered.

Specifies the transmit key from
WEP Key 1, WEP Key 2, WEP
Key 3, and WEP Key 4.

Disables the security method of
WPS-PBC.
Start Configures the wireless setting
with the security method of
WPS-PBC.
PIN
Code
Start Config.
*
Configures the wireless setting using the PIN
code assigned automatically by the printer.
Print PIN
Code
Prints the PIN code. Confirm it when entering
PIN assigned to the printer into your computer.
Are You Sure? Press the (Set) button to reset the wireless setting.
