Option Description
Date/Time
Allows you to set the date and time. The change to the system date
and time takes eect immediately.
Enable SMART Reporting
This eld controls whether hard drive errors for integrated drives
are reported during system startup. This technology is part of the
SMART (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology)
specication. This option is disabled by default.
Integrated NIC
Allows you to congure the integrated network controller.
Click one of the following options:
Enable UEFI Network Stack
If enabled, UEFI networking protocols are installed, allowing pre-OS
and early OS networking features to use enabled NICs. This maybe
used without PXE turned on.
Integrated NIC
Disabled
Enabled
Enabled w/PXE—Default
Enable Audio
Allows you to switch all integrated audio On/O, or enable/disable
the microphone and the internal speaker separately.
The options are:
Enable Audio
Enable Microphone
Enable Internal Speaker
This option is enabled by default.
USB Conguration
Allows you to enable or disable the internal/integrated USB
conguration.
The options are:
Enable USB Boot Support
Enable External USB Ports
All the options are set by default.
NOTE: USB keyboard and mouse always work in the BIOS
setup irrespective of these settings.
SATA Operation
Allows you to congure the operating mode of the integrated SATA
hard drive controller.
Click one of the following options:
Disabled
AHCI
RAID—Default
