Opening the Display


Opening the Display

1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.

2. Place the computer on a flat surface.

3. Open the display
using the latch swipe sensor:
a. Connect the AC adapter cable to the computer. Connect the other end of the AC adapter cable to a power outlet.
b. Swipe the latch swipe sensor and lift to open the display.

CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal
surface (such as a connector on your computer).
CAUTION: Toavoiddamagetothecomputer,useonlythebatterydesignedforthisparticularDell™computer.Donotusebatteriesdesignedfor
other Dell computers.
NOTE: To open the display, you must connect your computer to a power outlet or the computer battery must be charged.
