Be sure to remove any USB or CD\DVD media that was used to boot the computer. Failure to do this may result in booting

back into the recovery environment.

Bypass the Preboot Authentication Environment

Users forget their passwords and call into the help desk regarding getting through the PBA environment. Use the Challenge/Response

mechanism that is built-into the device. This is per-user and is based on a rotating set of alphanumeric characters. The user must enter

their name in the Username eld and then select Options > Challenge Response.
