Recognize an Over-Temperature Condition
An alarm message is generated and displayed when an over-temperature condition on a system component occurs. Either a
minor or a major alarm is triggered.
A minor temperature alarm is displayed when any system temperature threshold is exceeded. In this case, the system fan speed
is gradually increased to 60% duty cycle (PWM). If the sensors temperature does not decrease, the system fan speed is
increased to a 70% duty cycle (PWM) and a major over-temperature alarm is generated.
Over-temperature alarms are logged. Use the show alarms command to display the currently logged alarms.
To display the pre-configured sensor thresholds, use the show alarms threshold command.
