Up to 8 SNTP servers can be defined.
Use the
sntp unicast client enable
global configuration command to enable Unicast clients
globally.
To enable polling globally, you should also use the
sntp unicast client poll
global
configuration command.
Polling time is determined by the
sntp client poll timer
global configuration command.
To define an SNTP server on the out-of-band port, use the out-of-band IP address format
oob
/
ip-address
.
Examples
The following example configures the device to accept Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP)
traffic from the server on 192.1.1.1.
show clock
The
show clock
user EXEC command displays the time and date from the system clock.
Syntax
show clock [detail]
detail
Shows timezone and summertime configuration.
