Syntax
ip igmp
no ip igmp
Default Configuration
IGMP is by default disabled on interfaces.

User Guidelines
If IGMP is disabled on an interface, the IGMP parameters on the interface return to the
default values.
Example
The following example enables IGMP on port g5.
ip igmp query-interval
The
ip igmp query-interval
interface configuration command configures the frequency at which
the software sends Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) host query messages. To return
to the default frequency, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax
ip igmp query-interval
seconds
no ip igmp query-interval
seconds
—Frequency, in seconds, at which to send IGMP host query messages. (Range: 1 -
65535)
Default Configuration
The default is 125 seconds.

IGMP must be enabled before setting IGMP parameters.
