Example
The following example displays the DVMRP routing table contents.
The following table describes the fields shown in the display:
show ip dvmrp prune
The
show ip dvmrp prune
user EXEC command displays the Distance Vector Multicast Routing
Protocol (DVMRP) upstream prune state.
Syntax
show ip dvmrp prune [group

Field Description
Source The network address that identifies the sources for which this entry contains
Multicast routing information.
Neighbor The upstream neighbor (for example, RPF neighbor) address from which IP
datagrams from these sources are received.
Interface The interface on which IP datagrams sent by these sources are received.
Metric The distance in hops to the source subnet.
Expiry time The minimum amount of time remaining before this entry is aged out.
Up time The time since the route represented by this entry was learned by the router.
