Removing the rear system cover

Prerequisites

1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.

2. Power off the system and all attached peripherals.

3. Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.

4. If applicable, remove the system from the rack.

Steps

1. Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the rear system cover to the system.

2. Slide the cover towards the back of the system.

3. Lift the cover away from the system.
