Installing the 2.5-inch drive cage cover
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the drive cage.
4. If applicable, install the 2.5-inch drives into the drive cage.
5. Connect the power and signal cables to the drive in the drive cage.
NOTE: Ensure that the connector labeled HDD0 is plugged into upper drive before reinstalling bay.
Steps
1. Lower the drive cage cover onto the drive cage.
2. Slide the drive cage cover toward the back of the cage to engage it with the slots on the drive cage.
3. Use the screws to secure the drive cage cover to the drive cage.
