Security Menu
The Security screen provides fields to enable and set the user and
administrative password and to lockout the front panel buttons so they
cannot be used.
Scroll to this item and press <Enter> to view the following screen:
Supervisor Password: Indicates whether a supervisor password has been set. If
the password has been installed, Installed displays. If not, Not Installed
displays
User Password: Indicates whether a supervisor password has been set. If the
password has been installed, Installed displays. If not, Not Installed displays
Change Supervisor/User Password: You can install a Supervisor password, and
if you install a supervisor password, you can then install a user password. A
user password does not provide access to many of the features in the Setup
utility. Note, the Change User Password option only appears after a Supervisor
password has been set.
