Removing a MX7000 blank from Fabric C slot

Steps

1. Press the release button to release the blank.

2. Pull the blank out of the enclosure.

NOTE: To maintain proper airflow, ensure that the blanks are installed if the MX7000 IOMs is not installed.

Prerequisites

2. Remove the module from Fabric C slot.

Steps

1. Align and insert the blank in the empty slot.

2. Push the blank until it locks into place.
