选择系统引导模式

系统设置程序也能让您指定其中一个用于安装操作系统的引导模式：

• BIOS 引导模式（默认）是标准的 BIOS 级引导接口。

• 统一可扩展固件接口 (UEFI) 引导模式是增强的 64 位引导接口。如果您已将系统配置为引导至 UEFI 模式，

则它将叠加系统 BIOS。

1. 从 System Setup Main Menu（系统设置主菜单）中，单击 Boot Settings（引导设置）并选择 Boot

Mode

（引导模式）。

2. 选择您希望系统引导至的引导模式。

注: 在系统以指定引导模式引导后，从该模式安装操作系统。

小心: 试图从其他引导模式引导操作系统将导致系统在启动时立即停机。

注: 操作系统必须与 UEFI 兼容才能从 UEFI 引导模式安装。DOS 和 32 位操作系统不支持 UEFI，只能通

过

BIOS 引导模式进行安装。

Assigning a system and/or setup password

Prerequisites

The password jumper enables or disables the System Password and Setup Password features. For more

information about the password jumper settings, see 系统板连接器.

You can assign a new System Password and Setup Password or change an existingSystem Password and

Setup Password only when the password jumper setting is enabled and Password Status is Unlocked.

If the password jumper setting is disabled, the existing System Password and Setup Password are deleted

and you need not provide the system password to boot the system.

Steps

1. To enter System Setup, press F2 immediately after a power-on or reboot.

2. From the System Setup Main Menu, select System BIOS and press Enter.

3. On the System BIOS screen, select System Security and press Enter.

4. On the System Security screen, verify that Password Status is Unlocked.

5. Select System Password, enter your system password, and press Enter or Tab.

Use the following guidelines to assign the system password:

• A password can have up to 32 characters.

• The password can contain the numbers 0 through 9.

• Only the following special characters are allowed: space, (”), (+), (,), (-), (.), (/), (;), ([), (\), (]), (`).

A message prompts you to re-enter the system password.

6. Re-enter the system password, and click OK.

7. Select Setup Password, enter your system password and press Enter or Tab.
