To configure an unconfigured virtual disk for use with Backup Exec

On the navigation bar, click Devices.

Expand Storage Arrays, and then select the unconfigured virtual disk.

In the task pane, under Media Tasks, click Configure.

When you are prompted, click OK.
Backup Exec submits a Configure Virtual Disk job to configure the virtual
disk as a destination device for jobs.
