3. From the Base virtual disk drop-down menu, select the base virtual disk of the snapshot image.
4. Select an existing snapshot group to use for the new image.
NOTE: If this is the first snapshot image for the base virtual disk, a new snapshot group is
created if not already manually created.
5. Click OK.
Create Snapshot Virtual Disk
A snapshot virtual disk allows for a snapshot image to be mapped to a host or host group for data access.
To create a snapshot virtual disk, perform the following task:
1. Select a base virtual disk in the virtual disk tree window that has an existing snapshot group.
2. Click Create Snapshot Virtual Disk.
