NOTE: While the virtual disk copy is being established, a snapshot of the source virtual disk is

created which is used to create the virtual disk copy from. This ensures that the data is

consistent at the time the virtual disk copy was initiated and continued read-write access to the

source virtual disk during the copy operation.

NOTE: Snapshots for virtual disks residing on a disk pool are not supported in this release. Any

virtual disk copy using virtual disks on a disk pool is read-only to the host until the ‘copy’

process is completed.

2. Select the source virtual disk and click Next.

3. Click either Use existing virtual disk or Create a new virtual disk.
