Delete Snapshot (Legacy) Virtual Disk
Description
This command deletes one or more snapshot (legacy) virtual disks or snapshot (legacy) repository virtual
disks. You can also use this command to remove schedules for creating snapshots (legacy).
CAUTION: Possible damage to the storage array configuration – All of the data in the virtual disk
is lost as soon as you run this command.
Syntax
delete (virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] |
virtualDisks [virtualDiskName1 ... virtualDiskNameN])
[schedule]
Parameters
Parameter Description
virtualDisk or virtualDisks The name of the snapshot (legacy) virtual disk that
you want to delete. You can enter more than one
snapshot (legacy) virtual disk name. Enclose the
snapshot (legacy) virtual disk name in square
brackets ([ ]). If the snapshot (legacy) virtual disk
name has special characters, you also must
enclose the snapshot (legacy) virtual disk name in
double quotation marks (" ").
schedule
This parameter deletes the schedule for a specific
snapshot (legacy) virtual disk. Only the schedule is
deleted, the snapshot (legacy) virtual disk remains.
Delete Snapshot Virtual Disk
Description
This command deletes a snapshot virtual disk and optionally the associated snapshot repository
members.
NOTE: You cannot use this command for snapshot images involved in online virtual disk copy.
Syntax
delete snapVirtualDisk ["snapVirtualDiskName"]
[deleteRepositoryMembers=(TRUE | FALSE)]
