8.1 Error Message List
The DC-530’s alphanumeric display allows for detailed error messages. Use Table 8-1 below to find the error
message, possible causes for the error and ways to correct the problem. If these suggestions fail to correct the
situation, please contact your DIGI dealer for assistance.
Error Message Possible Causes Corrective Action
TEP SAMPLING ERR
INVALID MAX LIMIT
PLEASE RESAMPLE
There is too big a weight variance between
pieces for an accurate counting operation to
take place
Redo the sampling operation and increase
the sampling times.
LOAD CELL 1
OUT OF START RANGE
The scale was started while something was
on the platter and the weight was unstable.
Remove all items from the platter and
restart the scale.
OUT OF ZERO RANGE
PLEASE REDUCE WEIGHT
The REZERO key was pressed while
something was on the platter and and the
weight was unstable.
Remove all items from the platter and
restart the scale.
UNIT WEIGHT BELOW LIGHT
RANGE, PLEASE RESAMPLE
The Unit Weight in use is too light (smaller
than the light range) for an accurate counting
operation.
Use a larger Unit Weight.
ITEM LIMIT = 0 pCS,
INVALID ENTER TEP MODE
You are trying to recall an Item Code from
memory in TEP Counting Mode that has not
had its Safe Quantity Limit established yet.
Use the scale in TEP Counting Mode to
calculate the Safe Quantity Limit and edit
the Item Code Record to add that limit to
the data stored for that Item Code.
