5.8.4 Digital Inputs & Temperature
Sensors
The water module contains 5 optional digital
inputs, 4 optional NTC zone temperature sensor
inputs and 1 domestic hot water (DHW) NTC
sensor.
• DHW NTC is pre-wired and fitted to the
cylinder. This sensor allows the user
interface to display the actual cylinder
temperature.
• NTC zone sensors allow the user interface
to display room temperature in up to 4
different zones and actuate the
corresponding controls accordingly.
• Digital input 1 is a spare connection.
• Digital input 2 is pre-wired and
enables/inhibits remote control.
• Digital inputs 3, 4 & 5 accept room
thermostat connections (volt free) that can
be used to control ambient temperature at
each zone.
Note: The DI’s are volt free and under no
circumstances should 240V be connected
to these, as irreparable damage would
result and void the warranty.
