UltraLite® Pads
A true concrete equipment pad at the weight of plastic (about 2.5
lbs. per square foot). UltraLite® is strengthened by miles of fiber
in each square foot of fiber-cement coating. This fiber allows the
pad to flex instead of cracking or breaking. The textured surface
prevents the condensing unit or portable generator from sliding,
and allows water drainage, while the engineered encapsulated
polystyrene (EPS) core prevents warping and provides a solid bottom to resist settling. Unaffected
by soil conditions, ultraviolet (UV) light, temperature extremes, and other weather conditions.
E Lite® Pads
E Lite’s rugged design provides uniform and generous ribbing
for optimum, self-leveling ground support without inserts. The
result is a pad that is lightweight, but not too light. A subtle
texture prevents unit slide and presents a classic appearance,
which is enhanced by rounded edges and a concrete gray color.
Each pad is molded with a size label and a symbol representing
content of recycled material.
CladLite® Pads
Concrete surface and superior performance at 20% the
weight of conventional concrete pads. The cladding provides
superior resistance to sun, moisture and freeze-thaw condi-
tions; the engineered encapsulated polystyrene (EPS) core
is virtually impervious to water, soil conditions, fungus and
bacteria. CladLite® is further strengthened by continuous steel reinforcement throughout
the cladding. CladLite® is code approved for installation throughout the U.S.
CladLite® Hurricane Pad
Designed specifically for the hurricane prone regions of Florida
and the Gulf Coast, the CladLite® Hurricane pad meets
stringent local code requirements for wind resistance. Heavier
than a normal concrete pad, this pad provides sufficient weight
to meet code. These pads have been designed specifically
to meet the intent of the Florida Building Code, Chapter 16,
with respect to wind resistance. Method of attachment tested
per ASCE 7. CladLite® Hurricane pads are suitable for all 130 mph and most 150 mph
installations. For certain taller equipment, the CladLite® Hurricane T pad is needed.
CladLite® Hurricane pads have been declared by the Florida Building Commission to be
an acceptable alternative material to solid concrete slabs for use in specific applications
from Tallahassee to Miami. Approval of the pad is within the discretion of the local building
inspector. DCA02-DEC-183. Due to their extra weight, standard freight terms only apply for
shipments to Florida. All other shipments are shipped FOB Conyers, GA.
The Black Pad®
The Black Pad® is an innovative equipment pad using ground,
recycled rubber in a co-injection process. The pad is extremely
durable, resistant to ultraviolet light, and heavier than a
completely plastic pad. The Black Pad® is suitable for use with
pool pumps, filters, and heaters and complies with the 1997
Standard Swimming Pool Code sections 305.2 Mounting and
section 405 Equipment Foundations and Enclosures.
