Answering Machine (730R only)
Group listening
Incoming messages will be heard on the loudspeaker of the base unit as they are
received. If there is no sound, adjust the volume.
The call can be intercepted by pressing
q
or by lifting the receiver of another
telephone connected to the same line.
If the recording doesn’t stop automatically, press on the base unit.
Personal message - MEMO
A personal message – a MEMO – is a message recorded directly onto the answering
machine without dialling. This means that the answering machine may be used as an
electronic notebook, where messages, reminders or other notes to family members or
colleagues can be recorded. MEMOs may be up to 3 minutes in length.
1. Press and hold
8 8
. You will hear a beep.
2. Start speaking and record your message.
3. Release the button to stop recording.
4. Memos are played back in the same way as regular incoming messages.
Voice control
The answering machine will record the message as long as the caller keeps speaking
(max. 3 minutes). When the caller stops speaking, the answering machine will
disconnect after a few seconds.
Out of memory
The answering machine can receive a maximum of 59 messages of up to 11 minutes in
total length (including the outgoing message). If the memory is full, no new messages
will be accepted until the existing messages have been played and deleted.
When the memory is full, the indicator
1
on the base unit will ash quicker than
normal. The machine answers using a special message, to allow for remote playback
and remote deletion of messages.
Note: Delete old messages regularly to avoid lling up the memory!
