Answering Machine (730R only)
Remote password code
This code is needed in order to gain access to the remote control functions of the
answering machine (factory setting is 123). You can alter the code by following the
instructions below.
1. Press and hold
C
until the voice says “Security code setting”.
2. Press

9 9
several times until the display/voice states the rst digit of the code.
Press

3. Press

several times until the display/voice states the second digit of the
code. Press
C
.
4. Press

several times until the display/voice states the third digit of the
code.
5. Press

. The voice will say the current setting.
Checking current security code
Press

. The voice will say the current setting.
Remote activation
If you have forgotten to turn the machine on, you can do so by remote access.
1. Call up the answering machine. It will answer after approximately 10 rings.
2. Press
*
when the outgoing message has been played.
3. Enter the password code, see above.
4. The voice informs you of the number of new messages, and then the messages are
played. Press
#
to stop playback.
5. Press
7
. The answering machine is now ON.
6. Hang up.
