Improper installation,adjustment,alteration, service

Followlocalregulationswith respectto installation
of COdetectors.
1. Installationmustconformto requirementsof authority
havingjurisdictionor, inabsenceof suchrequirements,
to theNationalFuelGasCode,ANSIZ2231/NFPA54
2. Whererequiredbyauthorityhavingjurisdiction,
installationmustconformto the Standardfor Controls
andSafetyDevicesforAutomaticallyfiredBoilers,
ANSI/ASMECSD-1
3. BoilerseriesisclassifiedasCategoryI. Vent
installationshallbeinaccordancewith"Ventingof
Equipment," of theNationalFuelGasCode,ANSI
Z2231/NFPA54,orapplicableprovisionsof local
buildingcodes.
4. Boilerhasmetsafelightingandotherperformance
criteriawithgasmanifoldandcontrolassemblyon
boilerperlatestrevisionof ANSIZ21.13/CGA4.9.
5. Installsuchthatgasignitionsystemcomponentsare
protectedfromwater(dripping,spraying,rain,etc.)
duringapplianceoperationandservice,(circulator
replacement,condensatetrap,controlreplacement,
etc.).
6. Locateboileronlevel,solidbaseasnearchimneyas
possibleandcentrallylocatedwithrespectto heat
distributionsystemaspractical.
7. Verifyyouhavetherightsizeboilerbeforestarting
installation.Seeratingandcapacitytable.
8. Wheninstalledinutilityroom,doorshouldbewide
enoughto allowlargestboilerpartto enter,orto
permitreplacementof anotherappliancesuchaswater
heater.
9. Boilerinstalledinbuildingunderconstruction,take
careto insurecleancombustionairsupplyduring
constructionprocess.Airborneparticulatessuchas
fromdrywalldustandfromfiberglassinsulationcan
clogburnerportsandcauseincompletecombustionand
sooting.
Fire hazard. Do not install boiler on combustible
flooring or carpeting. Failure to follow these
instructions could result in death or serious injury.
10. FOR INSTALLATION ON NON=COHBUSTIBLE
FLOORS ONLY = For installation on combustible
flooring special base must be used, (See Replacement
PartsSection.)Do Not InstallBoileron carpeting,
