Setting the maximum speed
1. Turn the potentiometer P1 (1).
• To decrease the speed: Turn counter-clockwise.
• To increase the speed: Turn clockwise
The initial value is the maximum speed defined for this machine
class. It cannot be increased, only decreased.

This setting will be memorized and will also be valid after
restarting the machine.
Switching the needle's lifted position at sewing stop on / off
1. Press button S1 (2).
ª
The LED above button S1 is lit:
At sewing stop the needle will be lifted to top position.
2. Press button S1 (2) again.
ª
The LED above button S1 goes out:
The needle's lifted position at sewing stop is switched off.
ª
The respective setting will be memorized and will also be
valid after restarting the machine.
Switching the softstart on and off
1. Press button S2 (3).
ª
The LED above the button S2 is lit:
Sewing start with softstart.
2. Press button S2 (3) again.
ª
The LED above the button S2 goes out. Sewing start with-
out softstart.
ª
The respective setting will be memorized and will also be
valid after restarting the machine.
