OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Meat Thermometer:
The meat thermometer measures the internal temperature of the meat and is useful for indicating
when food has reached the recommended temperature for safe consumption. Refer to the chart on
Page 20 for proper food temperatures. For proper placement, remove the probe from the holster
and push the end of the thermometer towards the center of the thickest part of the meat. This
portion of the meat will require the longest cook time. If your meat has a bone, avoid touching the
end of the thermometer to the bone while cooking. If the thermometer is not used during the cooking
process, it should be kept inside the holster. For more information on food safety call:USDA Meat
