TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Flare-ups.
Persistent
grease re.
Meat contains excessive
amounts of fat.
Cooking temperature is
too high.
Grease build-up.
Too much build-up on
grease drip tray and/or
grease cup.
Trim the appropriate amount of fat
before cooking.
Lower the temperature as needed.
Clean the smoker, according to
the instructions.
Turn off the smoker and open the door to
allow the re to burn out.
DO NOT use water to extinguish the
re. Personal injury my result.
Allow the smoker to completely cool
before cleaning the tray and cup.
Control Panel
Error Code.
Meat probe not plugged in.
Damaged or frayed
cord wires.
Power Surge.
Plug in the meat probe.
Replace meat probe.
Switch the unit off and unplug
from outlet.
After 10 seconds, plug the unit
back into outlet and turn on the
smoker.
