The continuous filament fibres cause no known hazard to human health or environment.
However, it may cause eye or skin irritation with sensitive person.

The glass fibre product itself is not toxic because the diameter of the fibre is superior to 5 microns. To date, the
silicone coating is not associated with any particular risk.
May cause slight irritation of the skin and eyes for certain sensitive persons
In case of fire, the silicone glass sleeving may release gases : carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, silicium dioxide.
