Communication
Failures
The number of times that a device (either the SmartServer or a
proxy agent) has failed to communicate with the target device.
For direct communication target devices, this field lists the
number of communication failures that have occurred with the
SmartServer. For all other target devices, this field lists the
number of communication failures that have occurred with a
proxy agent.

Agent Switch
The number of times that the proxy agent used by a target
device to receive a message from the SmartServer has been
switched because of a communication failure with a previous
proxy agent.

Skipped
The number of times that a proxy agent has not attempted to
send a message to the target device because the Online Status of
the target device was not “Up”.
6. Optionally, you can obtain the real-time signal strength and signal
margin measurements at the hop between a device and its proxy by
performing the following steps:
a. Right-click the device and select Online Measurement from the
shortcut menu.
b. The Online Measurement dialog opens.
