UNIT SETUP Place the unit in an upright position on a stable, flat surface. Please ensure the unit is a safe distance away a wall or furniture (see diagram on the right). ffrom Air outlet Top min 60cm Please keep clothes at a safe distance of 60 cm from air outlet of the unit to prevent water dripping into the unit. Air inlet Where to position your dehumidifier? For best results position the dehumidifier somewhere lcentral like a landing or a hallway.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Before using 1. Installing silver nano filter and 3-in-1 (antiallergic, de-odour, charcoal) filter. 1 Remove filter frame from the back Unpack silver nano filter and 3-in-1 filter and fit as illustrated Re-install frame Before using 2. Automatic louvre adjustment (swing) The louvre automatically opens when switching on and closes when switching off. Press SWING key to select range. If SWING is off, louvre can be manually adjusted. 3.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STATUS DC204 Function keys ON/OFF key FUNCTION key DRY MODE key 1. Plug into the mains. Press ON/OFF key SWING key (Louvre Setting) TIMER key to start. 2. Press FUNCTION key to activate functions . 3. Press SWING key to select the desired swing function in order; press again to stop swing. 4. Press DRY MODE key to set the target humidity with one of the indicators on . The Dry mode only operates with “DRY” function in .
TO EMPTY THE TANK 1. When the tank is full, the "FULL" LED light will illuminate and the unit will stop. 2. Do not move the unit or remove the tank, if the machine is still operating, as water may leak, damage the unit or cause an electric shock. 3. To remove the tank, pull it out gently by gripping the bottom of the tank , one hand on the left and lift carefully. (Turn off for 5 minutes before empty the tank.) 4. Remove the side cover on top of the tank before pouring water. 5.
MAINTENANCE Cleaning the unit 1. Turn off the unit, wait for the fan to stop and unplug from the power socket. 2. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth. 3. Dry thoroughly with a towel after cleaning. 4. In order to avoid damage, do not wash the machine with water, or let water drip into the air inlet or outlet. Replacing the deodorizing charcoal filter 1. Switch unit off and remove filter from the back. 2. Do not wash 3-in-1 Filter(2). It should be replaced after 3 to 6 months use. 3.
TROUBLESHOOTING Normal conditions The compressor is set to continue running for at least three minutes after the unit is switched off so as to ensure the next use is smooth. Therefore ensure the power is left on during this time. This action also extends the working life the unit. Troubleshooting A: Before phoning for service please check the following: 1. If the unit fails to operate: Is flashing? Is the tank correctly installed? Check and reposition.
