Connect Water Line (Steam Dryer Only)
If this is not a steam dryer, skip to step 3.
1. Turn off water supply
to washer.
2. Remove cold water hose
from cold water supply.

3. Inspect supply hose rubber
washer, replace if worn.
4. Run water from
cold outlet to clear
contaminants.
7. Connect “Y” fixture or
extension hose to cold
supply. Tighten by hand.
5. Inspect for rubber wash-
ers. (Assembly Hose Kit P/N
5304495002 is not included
with purchase of steam model).
8. Tighten additional 2/3 turn
with pliers.

6. Tighten all connections by
hand, then tighten additional
2/3 turn with pliers.
9. Turn on water and check
for leaks.

Dryer must be properly grounded at all times.
Vent dryer through free-flowing, outdoor-vented, metal duct system.
Improper gas installation or LP conversion could result in injury or even death.
Avoid back or other injury. Use more than one person to move, lift or tip the dryer.

1. Apply approved thread sealant.
2. Wrench-tighten gas line.
3. Turn on gas.

Level and Connect
1. Raise or lower leveling
legs.
2. Level in both directions.
3. Check stability corner to corner.

Operate
IMPORTANT
Prior to using the sanitize feature (if avail-
able) on your dryer for the first time, internal
dryer parts must be conditioned to ensure
a complete sanitization of your laundry.
1. Place a wet load of towels or other durable
fabrics suitable for high temperatures into
the dryer.
2. Set the dryer for the 75 minute time
dry cycle and adjust the temperature to
sanitize.
* DO NOT install plastic or foil ducting.
If installing semi-rigid ducting, DO NOT
exceed 8 ft. (2.4m) total duct length.
Do not screen the exhaust ends of the
vent system. No screen or grate of any
mesh size is allowed to cover the exhaust
opening.
To vent left or right from dryer, use 90°
quick-turn elbow

WARNING
Clean lint after every
load.
3. Once the cycle is
complete, remove
the load.
Your dryer is now
conditioned and
ready to sanitize
your laundry. It is not
necessary to repeat
internal dryer part
conditioning.
