BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove and safely discard all packaging material and any labels or stickers.
2. Clean the cooking plates with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the unit or run
water directly on the cooking surfaces.
3. Dry thoroughly with a cloth or paper towel.
4. Insert the power plug into a wall outlet.
5. Set the temperature knob to 450°. Do not place food on the plate.
6. The unit may emit smoke or odor during this time. This is normal and does not affect
the safety of the unit.
7. After about 4-5 minutes, turn the unit off and let it cool down.
8. Insert the drip tray at the back of the grill & griddle. Now it is ready for use.
