Figures 25 and 26 show a correct pilot ame pattern. The correct
ame will be blue and will extend beyond the thermocouple. The
ame will surround the thermocouple just below the tip. A slight
yellow ame may occur where the pilot ame and main burner
ame meet. Figures 27 and 28 show an incorrect pilot ame pattern.
The incorrect pilot ame is not touching the thermocouple. This will
cause the thermocouple to cool. When the thermocouple cools, the
heater will shut down.
