The Success Story Continues: New VPT System for
High Speed Applications
The new eneo VPT Pan/Tilt Head ties in with a successful
production tradition: more than 50,000 VPT systems are
currently in operation around the world, reliably carrying out their
work even in adverse weather conditions. The new VPT-501 now
heralds a new era for high-speed applications: the pan/tilt head
is three times as fast as the VPT-42 and can be operated with
existing housing models.
The former external shape has been retained to a great extent.
The maximum horizontal variable rotation speed is 100°/sec,
and the tilt range speed has been increased to 50°/sec. At the
same time, the power transmission ratio has been optimised and
the torque thus improved.
Up to 64 positions can be preset with nearly full maintenance-
free operation. Hall elements are used for cut-off instead of a
wear-susceptible switch. Just the same as its predecessors,
the VPT excels through its high reliability along with positioning
precision.
