supply.
17. SetthecircuitbreakersoneachDCpowersupplytoOn.
Removing a Power Supply
ToremoveaDCpowersupply:
1. Ensurethatthebranchcircuitdisconnectdeviceissw itchedtopreventpowerfrom
beingsuppliedtotheDCpower supply.
2. Attachtheanti‐staticwriststrapbeforehandlingthepowersupplymodule.
3. SwitchthecircuitbreakerontheDCpowersupplytoOff.
4. Removetheclearplastic
shieldovertheterminalstuds.
5. Removethecablesfromtheterminalstuds.
6. Disconnecttheearthgroundstudofthepowersupplyfromtheearthground.
7. Unscrewthecaptivescrewtoreleasethepowersupplyfromthechassis.
8. Removethepowersupplybygraspingthehandleandpullingitstraightoutofthe

chassis.
9. Fastenacove rplateovertheemptyslot.
Note: Before you power up the Matrix X chassis, you must complete installation of fan
trays and modules.
Warning: Disconnect all power sources before servicing.
